Stamina Stevie - Raising Money For The Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK
Commitment and Determination Enable Steven O'Keefe To Participate In The BUPA Great North Run

Steven O'Keefe was seriously injured in a car accident that resulted in him being in hospital for a year and in a coma for 4 weeks. He suffered brain damage which has left him with certain difficulties and it has been a struggle to get as fit as he is now, but he is incredibly determined. In fact, Steve is so determined he is running in the BUPA Great North Run taking place on September 21st in Newcastle upon Tyne to raise money for the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK (Registered Charity No. 1089464).

The Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK charity raises money to fund vital bowel cancer research. The reason Steve has chosen to support the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK is because his mother Kathy had bowel cancer and is in now remission.

Steve has already raised an incredible £30,000 for the charity by taking part in the Flora London Marathon in April. He is an inspiration to others and has proved that anything is possible if you set your mind to it.

In order to sponsor Steven O'Keefe to take part in the Great North Run please send a cheque made payable to The Bobby Moore Fund to:

GIFT AID
If you are a UK taxpayer, the Government's Gift Aid Scheme allows charities to collect tax back on your pledge, increasing the value by almost a third at no extra cost to you. If you are happy for the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research UK to reclaim the tax on your donation, please include a note stating this and ensure you include your home address. (It doesn't matter what rate of tax you pay as long as you pay an amount of income or capital gains tax equal to the tax reclaimed by the charity on your donation in that financial year).
